Whistler Center Annual Short Course to be October 15-17, 2013 at Purdue University

The Annual Whistler Center Short Course this year will be October 15-17, 2013 at Purdue University. We are please to announce we will be includeing three outside presenters this year - Dr. Madhuvanti Kale (Z-Trim Technologies, Inc.), John Keller (Keller Konsulting), and John McRorie (Procter and Gamble).

Whistler Center for Carbohydrate Research offers this short course geared towards individuals who want an in-depth review or refresher course on starch fundamentals. At the Whistler Center for Carbohydrate Research, we have worked consistently to make our activities more relevant to our partner carbohydrate-utilizing industries. We pride ourselves in doing cutting-edge research with real world applications and have kept up-to-date in our knowledge and its translation. In recent years our Carbohydrate Short Course has become one of the centerpieces of the Whistler Center as it has moved from a refresher course to its current 3-day format with the fundamentals on day 1 and advanced sessions on days 2 and 3 covering timely topics relevant to industry, including our perspective of state-of-the-science and future opportunities.

This course is a Special Event for our members but we have limited registration available for non-members.
